Why have just one day of celebration when you can have a long weekend? Sounds like a great idea right? More and more we are finding that enjoying the simple things in life like time with family and friends and slowing down to enjoy the good times is high on our list of priorities. Not surprisingly then a way to combine all of this is by planning an event holiday.
We’ve all heard of destination weddings but why not destination birthday celebrations too, especially if it’s a significant one. These types of holidays are a great way for everyone to have the opportunity for a mini break from the everyday life but also cater for people who can only spare time out for a lunch or day celebration. The idea is to plan a celebration at a holiday spot where you can caravan and others can join in by staying in their vans, tents or cabins and celebrate in style. (Read into that, eat, drink and get merry and not have to drive home).
If you want people to be able to attend easily don’t make it too far away. You can make a long weekend or week of it and choose one day, a Saturday or Sunday, for the celebration to take place for everyone to be able to join in.
Look for a caravan park with plenty of space to get together as a group or with a hotel or dining option within walking distance of the park so no driving is required. Then let the celebrations begin.
Cheers to doing just that and Happy significant birthday Harry!

Looks like you all had a fabulous weekend. We’re thinking of doing something similar for our daughter in the High Country for her 21st.

Lovely for everyone to celebrate and stay together. Recovery breakfast next day is mandatory. 🍳

We were just saying the other day how nice it would be to organise more family get togethers! What a lovely treat for a birthday.

It’s a great way for everyone attending to have the gift of some down time too. A really relaxing way to celebrate as a group.
