There’s a new must do to add to your list when you’re next in Goolwa on the Fleurieu Peninsula, and that is Pelican Bistro located upstairs in the Goolwa Surf Lifesaving Club.

With spectacular views along the coast, it’s always an excellent option for a drink with friends when you’re down this way, but now you can also have delicious food, day and night from Thursdays through to Sundays.

Pelican Bistro is open for Breakfasts from 9-11am, and then from 12- 8.30pm for lunch, dinner or to just to drop in for a drink. Remember to take a credit or EFTPOS card with you as the club doesn’t deal with cash and the staff are volunteers who do a fabulous job behind the bar and serving meals.

All the food on the menu, from breakfast through to desserts look absolutely magnificent and on Thursdays you can great a great deal with Schnitzel night only costing $20 which includes a choice of sauces and toppings, salad and chips.

Pelicans Bistro also cater for functions from birthdays, wakes, and weddings, to work meetings and club functions. They can provide platters or sit down meals when you plan your event.

The Bistro has only been up and running with food service since December 2022 and have gradually built up their menu and profile to now, where it has become really popular with locals and visitors.
