Driving to the tip of Australia – Part 4 (Loyalty Beach, Seisia and Alau Beach)

Our next stop was Loyalty Beach, another planned stay to make sure that we were here on a Sunday night, their famous fish and chip night! We can choose to set up wherever we like, so we select another beachfront position with just the white beach, turquoise sea and palm trees in front of us.

We Made It to the Tip of Cape York and Back!

It’s been a long time between blogs but with good reason, as we have been off on an adventure to reach the tip of Cape York, Australia’s most northerly mainland point. It was an epic journey, the hardest we’ve ever done.  We did it over 12 days and still by no means saw everything, but… Read More We Made It to the Tip of Cape York and Back!

How a Coat of Paint can Refresh a Town

That is the title of the latest story I’ve written for On The Road magazine, spring 2022 edition. The story looks at how silo art has taken off in Australia, with more than 50 once drab and neglected concrete silos and other structures, now sporting a new coat of paint, which in the process has… Read More How a Coat of Paint can Refresh a Town
