Milk The Cow – Licensed Fromagerie Melbourne


This concept is very close to my idea of heaven! For caravanners, think of it as the most upmarket happy hour you’ve ever taken part in. When we visited Melbourne we stepped into this wonderland in the suburb of Carlton, and there is another at St Kilda. The idea of this fromagerie is to pair cheeses and wines (and other beverages) and there are a number of options you can choose from.

Hectors On the Wharf

Hector's On The WharfThis boat house style café is an institution in Goolwa South Australia and is perfectly situated on the Wharf overlooking the Murray River and the bridge to Hindmarsh Island. It’s open from 9am to 4.30pm, every day so whether you’re in the mood for a morning coffee, a hearty breakfast or slow lunch, this is one place that must be on the list of places to see when you’re travelling on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Melbourne, Quirky Places to Eat & Drink

When in Melbourne you just have to go with whatever the quirky, trendy or just plain weird bar and restaurant combination you find. Don’t get me wrong I love it, but some of them have to be seen to be believed. This is definitely a ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ experience but here’s a few that we’ve found and loved, in our recent travels. All of them can be found a short tram ride out of Melbourne on the tram 86 route.
