Another colourful mural has popped up in the Copper Coast town of Moonta on Yorke Peninsula, featuring familiar scenic views of the town and Moonta Bay.
You can find the mural which was painted by local Moonta artist, Julie Cheshire, next to a car park and new garden, opposite the Cornish Kitchen in Ellen Street Moonta.
The mural includes the easily recognizable Moonta Bay jetty featuring silhouettes of people in front of typically stunning sunset colours and seagulls hovering nearby.
There is also reference to the history of the town with the Moonta Mines and its buildings represented as well as farm scenery and Australian birds including Galahs and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos.
Another bright and beautiful example of street art to look for on Yorke Peninsula.
Happy touring
Glenys
