In case you don’t follow my social channels, I’ll be taking a short break from blogging while our family heads off to India for a short getaway!

We were absolutely thrilled to have attended our son and daughter in law’s wedding, held in South Australia, over two days in late September. Day one involved an Indian Mehendi and Sangeet celebration at our house which was followed by a wedding ceremony the next day, held at a winery in McLaren Vale SA.

Both days were absolutely magical, full of love, laughter, music, dance and complete joy. The bride and groom were completely stunning and we were thrilled that most of the bride’s family made the journey from Bengaluru in southern India to join in the celebrations.

As with these things though, not everyone that you’d love to be a part of the days were able to make the long trip, so we are excited to now be attending an after wedding party in Bengaluru, to include other important people in this happy occasion, and experience another culture.

While we’re away, (just a couple of weeks), the Caravan Correspondent website and Facebook page will be quiet, but I can’t wait to experience all the colour and chaos of our destination, and the camera will be working overtime!
