Because he was such a big part of our caravan travels, and appeared in a lot of photos and blogs, I thought I’d better pay a little tribute here to the best dog in the world.

On Friday 31st of January 2025, we had to say goodbye to the best boy ever.

We adopted our wonky legged, dingo looking, cream kelpie Neo, from Australian Working Dog Rescue, when he was about 1 year old, after he’d been rescued from death row at a pound in Victoria.

He had 11 wonderful, fun and love filled years with our family and had loads of beach holidays in that time.

It still wasn’t long enough.

He was a charmer who loved people and many loved him. His tail wagged to the end.

It’s sad that I won’t ever have to explain again, ‘Yes he’s got bad legs, it’s a neurological problem’, and ‘No he’s not a dingo’.
