WiperPro Windscreen Wipers – Put to the test

Recently I was contacted by a company called WiperPro to see if we would be interested in trialling a set of their windscreen wipers on our 200 series Landcruiser.

They got a big tick straight away for being Australian owned and operated and their point of difference is that their wipers are made to specifically fit your model of car.

Thereโ€™s nothing worse in teeming rain to find that your windscreen wipers arenโ€™t keeping up to the job. Not only is it annoying if they are squeaking and missing sections of the windscreen, but itโ€™s a safety issue if your vision of the road is impaired.

If streaking, squeaking or skipping is happening with your wipers, it may be time to consider a complete wiper blade replacement.

The WiperPro windscreen wipers are custom fit for your car, with specific lengths that suit the make and model of your vehicle, to give optimal coverage. When you visit the WiperPro website, there are simple drop down boxes to select your exact vehicle and then choose the kit youโ€™re after, whether thatโ€™s for the windscreen, rear window, or both. The prices are clear and delivery is free on your order too.

We were given a wiper blade set of 2 front and 1 rear wiper, in cushioned packaging, ensuring they arrived in the best condition. On removing them from the packaging it was immediately obvious that they were different to the off the shelf current wiper blades weโ€™ve been using, with more of a curve to hug the windscreen, and they were slightly longer than the current blades too. The wiper blade rubbers were also protected with a covering strip.

WiperPro claim that the wipers will be easy to install with a quick snap on design that doesnโ€™t require any tools, so we put that to the test and itโ€™s true that itโ€™s as simple as taking off the old wipers, which was the hardest part of the replacement job, and snapping the WiperPro wipers into place. We followed their simple installation diagrams on the website and that made the job foolproof.

The fact that theyโ€™re made from UV resistant materials, means they should be able to cope with the Australian heat and weather conditions.

So having installed them, how do they stack up compared to the previous wiper blades? It was immediately obvious on trialling the WiperPro wipers that coverage was superior to the previous off the shelf blades, and the driverโ€™s side view in particular was clearer thanks to the longer length of the blade.

I wouldnโ€™t hesitate based on our experience with the WiperPro blades, to recommend them to others because of the great service, fast delivery, easy installation and the product living up to its claims.

Well done!
