Driving to the tip of Australia – Part 4 (Loyalty Beach, Seisia and Alau Beach)

Our next stop was Loyalty Beach, another planned stay to make sure that we were here on a Sunday night, their famous fish and chip night! We can choose to set up wherever we like, so we select another beachfront position with just the white beach, turquoise sea and palm trees in front of us.

Driving to the tip of Australia – Part 2 (all the way to Punsand Bay)

Our drive to the tip continued with a mix of bitumen and dirt roads. We notice how the roadside plants on one side are caked in red dirt as the dust gets blown then settles to one side of the road. Everything is red tinged.

Bright and Bubbly Mission Beach

Mission Beach has a certain vibe that is relaxed and welcoming, but with a vibrant and busy local hub as well.  It is busy enough to keep you entertained and has plenty of options for eating and drinking out, but on the flipside, there are oodles of serene places and ways to chill out. The trip so far has been pretty perfect with the weather slowly getting warmer and more consistent as we’ve headed north.Β  The Landcruiser and Jayco Silverline are going well (as expected) and most of the… Read More On the Road to Townsville, Queensland – 2023

Time to Hit the Road

We are just days away from hitting the road for a few months of caravanning, firstly through Victoria and New South Wales until our ultimate destination of far north Queensland. I (Glenys) will be trying to keep up the blog posts while gathering information and photos for future stories for magazine and online publications. My… Read More Time to Hit the Road

Stay at Big4 Barossa Tourist Park Nuriootpa

I can’t think of a better caravan park in the Barossa which caters so well for a group get together, than the Big4 Barossa Tourist Park at Nuriootpa. We had the pleasure of staying there recently for a celebration with friends and for winter caravanning it fits the bill perfectly.
