If you’re involved in travel writing or other tourism industries you may have seen work grind to a halt in a lot of ways in the past couple of months, let’s face it, it’s a bit hard selling the dreams of travel when there’s nowhere to go. But for the glass half full people like myself there are still plenty of ways to stay involved.
I thought it was time for a post to explain who I am and why the website? Firstly thanks for stopping by and whether you found it by accident or were searching for something, I hope I can help you. If you’re travelling in Australia and in particular if you are planning a road trip I might be able to help you find some interesting places to visit and ideas on what to do when you get there.
The ‘Let’s Go Caravan & Camping’ show is on now in Adelaide and you still have today and over the weekend to attend. It’s on at the Wayville Showgrounds just out of the city and is open from 10am – 5pm every day until Sunday 17th of February. The entry price of $17 for adults seems a bit steep but you will get your money’s worth in not having to traipse all over town to see everything caravan and camping. What I love about these shows is that you can see everything in one convenient location and do your comparisons when it comes to different makes and models of vans especially.

What is social media tourism? To me it’s the epitome of ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’. I’m the first one to be hooked in by a photograph that has me saying ‘Oh I am definitely going there one day’.
