The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden

This Botanic Garden in Port Augusta was officially opened in 1996 with a purpose to display and promote the plant diversity of the arid lands of South Australia. Today it continues to conserve arid land flora in its natural environment while educating visitors on how to use native plants in home gardens. Land of Ragged Mountain Ranges

No matter how many stories I’ve had printed, it’s always a thrill to see another one in a magazine. Have a Whale of a time along the Fleurieu Coast.

At home in South Australia, one of my favourite winter pastimes is to go whale spotting on a weekend. Luckily you only have to venture to the Fleurieu coast in South Australia to find one of their holiday playgrounds where they spend a few months in warmer waters with their calves. There are certainly other spots in South Australia… Read More Have a Whale of a time along the Fleurieu Coast.
