Top 10 Australian Travel Blog Stories

Now more than ever you are probably looking for a little distraction from the overload of doom and gloom gripping the world. Yes we need to hear and heed advice that is coming out daily if not hourly from the experts, but for our sanity we also all need to unplug ourselves from this constant feed and just breathe, relax and chill.

In an effort to put a bit of joy and wanderlust back into your day I have selected a few of my favourite posts for you to read. Maps Improve Your Brain Power!

I read a newspaper article recently that discussed the loss of the skill of map reading and the importance that this skill has on keeping our brains actively making connections. This is probably something we’ve always known but with the rise in popularity of Sat Nav, google maps and other location finders on our phones and built into cars now, are we losing valuable brain training?

‘You should have been here last week!’

This is a phrase you don’t want to hear when you’re on a caravanning holiday. I wish I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that. Usually it’s followed with some great endings like, ‘the sun was shining’, ‘it was really warm’, ‘there were dolphins playing right out the front’, ‘there were spectacular sunsets’, and other great missed opportunities.
