Whether I’m holidaying or at home, a walk in the great outdoors is a favourite pastime of mine. When on holidays, it’s a great way to get new ideas and photos for stories, as well as finding out more in depth details about the place you’re visiting while getting your step count up for the day.

Feeling comfortable is my number one priority so I recently tried an Australian designed brand of active wear called Active Truth and they are as good as I thought they would be. I have decided to review them here, for you to decide for yourself if they would be right for you.  Now before men reading this tune out, remember it’s not too long until Mother’s Day but you don’t need an excuse to buy these for the women in your life.  I mean who doesn’t need active wear in their life!

Firstly to the tights, they come in full length, 7/8 length, 3/4 length, bike shorts and even maternity. The sizing starts at XS and goes up to 3XL so the range covers from size AU 6-26. What makes them the most comfortable active wear I’ve ever worn is that they are high waisted with a wide band that sits comfortably and doesn’t fold over when you are actually doing something active! Also they are made from a compression fabric which provides great core support and make them feel great on as well. They feel comfortable when you move and they move with you, always staying where they are supposed to. The material isn’t thin and see through, a problem with some other brands, and you can even buy some with convenient pockets, which are perfect for carrying your phone.

They couldn’t be easier to take caravan and camping too, packing up to a tiny size and taking up no room at all in a cupboard, and they wash and dry easily and extremely quickly. The tights and matching crop tops, come in a range of colours and patterns with mine in Midnight Blue. Personally I have my eye on a new limited edition range which has been created in collaboration with indigenous artist Bobbi Lockyer. They look gorgeous.
