Last year during the initial stages of Covid-19 restrictions and lock downs, our State Library of South Australia called for photos from the public, for the purpose of recording this historical moment in time.
I submitted a few photos of the changes that I noticed around me in my local area, little knowing that all this time later the world would still be so affected by this pandemic.
I submitted nine photos of everyday changes and signs of the time, and today I was really pleased to receive notification that my photos are being kept as part of a permanent digital collection in the State Library.
You can read my blog post on when I submitted the first photos by searching the term ‘state library’ using this website search function.
Cheers
Glenys

Thanks Miriam I was pretty chuffed to think I’ve contributed to history, even it it was/is a bleak time. 🙂
