On The Road ~ Summer 23/24

With the annual beach holiday planned for summer, it’s time to rest, relax, and enjoy a bit of what we love the most.

The caravan will be parked with a beach view, friends will stop by to catch up and there will be lots of food and drinks to share as we swap stories of the year we’ve all had.

Hopefully the fish will be biting but either way, we’ll get good use of our new (second hand) boat as we try to pull in some nice King George whiting, squid and blue crabs. I can taste the seafood already.

With a bit of luck the weather will stay warm and sunny and there’ll be lots of time to just sit in the shade and read a book or two and flip through a few magazines.

On the subject of magazines, I’m thrilled to finish the year off with another story in print, this time in the summer edition of On The Road magazine.

Inside is my story on the naturally beautiful Atherton Tablelands in north Queensland. If you’re in need of some nature therapy, this is the place to go for towering ancient fig trees, cool rainforest walks, crystal clear lakes and breathtakingly beautiful cascading waterfalls.

Grab a copy at all good newsagents, enjoy the summer and start planning your travels for 2024.

Cheers,

Glenys
