I entered a couple of photos again this year in a competition run by Australian Photography Magazine ~ for Landscape Photographer of the Year 2026.
It’s a great way to get feedback on your photography and see how you rate amongst other creative people. The photos entered are judged by a panel of leading photographers.
This year I entered two photos both of which were taken while on one of our caravan holidays, at Moonta Bay on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.
The western side of the peninsula is a perfect spot for capturing summer sunsets when the sun dips into the sea, and spectacular colours in the clouds are a frequent sight.
I was thrilled to receive commendations for both the photos I entered this year.

Cheers and well done to everyone who entered.
