The Surreal McLaren Vale

I’ve written a destination piece on the wine growing region of McLaren Vale and surrounds for the November issue of Liquid Life & Leisure magazine online. This region is an easy day trip from Adelaide but with so much on offer from more than 70 wineries, a craft brewery, fine dining, nearby farmers market, cycle… Read More The Surreal McLaren Vale

The d’Arenburg Cube

Leave all of your sanity at the door people! Well that’s what the sign should say as you enter The d’Arenberg Cube at McLaren Vale. At the entranceway there is only the slightest hint of the weirdness that you are about to be drawn into as you step inside this five storey glass and metal… Read More The d’Arenburg Cube

Swell Brewing Co.

Just like the unpredictable ocean you don’t quite know what’s in store for you at Swell Brewing Co. until you take the plunge and go inside. A massive grey shed with the Swell logo, a surfer with board under arm, is what greets you when you arrive at this small brewery and taphouse in South… Read More Swell Brewing Co.

Caravanning, is there a better way to catch up with friends?

We have met some lovely people through caravanning holidays, some we know are just in passing, but they have made a short stay very enjoyable, others closer to home that we’ve clicked with and known we would no doubt meet again in our travels. 24 Hours in McLaren Vale

Less than 40 kms from Adelaide is the relaxed town of McLaren Vale. This popular wine region has around 74 cellar doors and is known for its Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernets.   We stayed at the quiet and comfortable McLaren Vale Lakeside Caravan Park for the weekend and surprisingly for the time of year and with… Read More 24 Hours in McLaren Vale

🛶That’s a good idea, but not for me. I’ll be the one sitting on the deck here @oysterhqcoffinbay with a nice cold Savvy Blanc.😉
I think this is my favourite off grid camping spot on @eyrepeninsula. There’s something about the colour of the ocean, the white sand, massive sand dunes and awesome campground that make it so special.🌊
I see you watching me, watching you 🦘
Blue and green should always be seen. 🌊
Tonight’s sunset view from the caravan ❤️‍🔥
Endless ocean blues and every part of it can be your backyard when you’re off grid @eyrepeninsula 💙
