In May last year, we were holidaying in the Northern Territory and while in Alice Springs, we saw the incredible sight of international aircraft parked in storage, while the pandemic was grounding travellers.
You can read my story about that time, here.
As a follow up to that, I recently read a story on what’s happening now that travel is returning to normal, and these aircraft are departing Alice Springs.
Have a read about the steps that were taken to keep these aircraft safely in storage and how they are gradually being brought out of hibernation and returning to service. The story appeared in Executive Traveller.
Cheers
