For a few months I’ve been contributing stories and recipes to The Wanderer magazine, which is the publication of the Caravan and Motorhome Club of Australia.

This club is the largest RV club in Australia with over 60,000 members and the magazine is only available to members of the club, either online or as a print magazine.

Benefits of joining the CMCA, as well as receiving a great magazine, include newsletters with information relevant to RV owners, lists of RV friendly destinations and towns, member discounts at parks and relevant businesses, and access to GeoWiki X which is a user friendly site that helps you locate, campgrounds, caravan parks, national parks, dump point and other traveller services.

You can also if you choose, get involved with other members of the CMCA via meet ups and events with over 100 chapters and special interest groups Australia wide. 

We have recently joined the CMCA and are already impressed with the service, information available to members and of course, the glossy magazine, The Wanderer. Each month the magazine has features on destinations and everything of interest for anyone travelling around Australia, as well as regular features of news, advice, cooking, CMCA parks, chapter events and a members market full of second hand vans, campervans and vehicles to buy if you’re in the market.

I’m really happy to also have some regular writing lined up with The Wanderer magazine into 2025, with more recipes and stories to come.
